The Local Perspective

An interview excerpt with Geron Smith, Director of Business Development

Interviewer: What does ACT do from a local perspective?

Geron: From a local perspective, probably the most common thing that we do is working with the insurance industry. So many of the losses that we work with, including fire, water and storm, most commonly involves an insurance agent or adjuster. We are building a good relationship and rapport with those professionals in our community, and we also work with end users. That could be the hotel group, it could be multifamily ownership or management companies that have apartment complexes, and it could be the hospital. So, we’re now working with the end users as well as insurance adjusters.
